 Step Towards Empowerment of the Poor
Annual Report 2005-06

I have the immune pleasure to have an opportunity to produce the Annual Report of STEP for the fiscal year 2005-2006. STEP in its reporting year put emphasis on Hardcore Poor to enhances capacity building of the underprivileged in particular and Ethnic Minority, Working Children, Juvenile/Infants Justice of the detained Hardcore Women, Adolescent and Ageing us flare activities to care geriatric complexities and thereby aspiring to reach the project goal.

We emphasized and poorest of the poor  stakeholder on individual capacity buildup and build up social awareness through individual family approach, ensure woman rights and also increase the health consciousness through training, sharing information, motivation and credit support along with mobilizing and utilizing local resources in the reporting year

 

 

First of all I would like to convey my hearty congratulation and special thanks to Shapla Neer for its financial assistance, proper direction and suggestions during program implement in our project area. I would pay my   especial gratefulness to Ms. Emiko Fuzioka, Director, Shapla Neer and Mr. Ojima Atsushi and special thanks to Mr. Porimal Kumar Roy, Program Officer,Shapla Neer  and all officials and staff working there also.  Lastly I would like to convey my heart-felt gratefulness to all staff of STEP and mainly all beneficiaries for their highest cooperation in this connection. Finally, I would like to furnish my special thanks to the government functionaries especially to NGO Affairs Bureau, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Upazila Nibrahi Officers, local govt. representatives, and other govt. official whose were spent their valuable time and special effort to program implementation.
